The Neighborhood of Golden hills occupies a pie shaped area in North Redondo. Bounded by Artesia Blvd, Aviation, and Prospect, the area is mostly single family homes, interspersed with an occasional townhome. The area harkens memories of  Frisco in the late 1970′s. Mostly “Tall and Skinny” homes built on 25 x 100 feet lots.

These homes are the result of an effort to create more affordable homes. The solution was to cut the existing 50 x 100 lots into two. Thus, the area builders created “two-on- a- lot”  townhomes and Single Family Homes that sit on the smaller lots.

Many of the area builders like Anastasi, O’Neil construction, LaCharite started building these into their current Cape Cod and Victorian look
